The customer purchases a gift card and receives it by email

The customer browses your voucher page, picks a denomination or specific experience, and pays online by card. At checkout they decide whether the PDF should be sent straight to the recipient, to themselves, or to both at once – handy when they'd rather print it at home and hand it over in person. The PDF is print-ready out of the box, so there's no extra design work.

You immediately receive the money in your company's account

Online voucher sales are settled directly to your business bank account – KORTA never holds your money. The 5 % success fee is invoiced monthly, so you see every transaction on your statement exactly when it happens. No weekly payouts, no platform wallet to chase.

The customer comes to use the gift card

When the recipient arrives to redeem their voucher, they show you the PDF or the QR code. The voucher already carries the expiry date and any terms you've set, so your team can welcome the guest straight in without any back-and-forth at the door.

In the KORTA.app system, you mark the gift card as redeemed

Your team scans the QR code with any phone or types the voucher number into the KORTA admin panel. The system records the redemption, handles partial-use math automatically and updates the outstanding liability report your accountant needs. Total time: about five seconds.

Yes. KORTA handles partial redemption natively – if a customer has a €100 voucher and uses €60 on the first visit, the remaining €40 stays on the same voucher for next time. You and your team don't have to track anything manually; the system keeps the running balance and shows it to the customer alongside any validity dates. In practice this is one of the reasons vouchers bring customers back – a remaining balance is a built-in reason to return.
